UM Tagum College
UM Tagum College is one of the pioneering colleges in Tagum City. It is composed of two campuses - the Arellano and Visayan Campus. It's top-of-the-key educational programs have helped the youth in pursuing their dreams and trained them to be high-class professionals all over the globe.
History:
UM TAGUM COLLEGE formerly MC Tagum Academy and one of the ten branches of the University of Mindanao in Davao City marked its humble beginning in the summer of 1950 as the first non-sectarian private school of Tagum. It was established to cater the educational needs of the people in this part of the country.
All through the years, UM Tagum College had gained respect from the constituency of Davao del Norte. This is because it has proven its commitment to serve the people in its more than fifty years of existence. Today, the school leads in producing CPAs, Teachers, Criminology, Engineering graduates and many successful government examinations passers. It has etched a name for Davao del Norte.
UM Tagum College with its two campuses, the Mabini Main and Visayan Campus can boast of their modern facilities such as concrete buildings, separate libraries, science and engineering laboratories, computer laboratories, speech laboratory, air-conditioned offices, complete HRM and nursing laboratory, a mini gym, and a cultural center with a seating capacity of 6,000 people where social functions are held and also open for the community affairs.
